HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Jeanne Tripplehorn, who co-starred in such pictures as "Basic Instinct" and "Waterworld," is set to join Gwyneth Paltrow in the
romantic comedy "Sliding Doors." Irish actor John Lynch (In the Name of the Father) also joins a cast that includes John Hannah (Four Weddings and a Funeral).
"Sliding Doors" is a contemporary comic romance about a young woman who explores two different scenarios of love and lifestyle. Production is set to begin on
April 1 in London with Peter Howitt making his directing debut from his original screenplay. Tripplehorn made her onscreen debut in the 1992 thriller "Basic Instinct",
from which she segued to roles in "The Firm" and "Waterworld." The Tulsa native can be seen in the upcoming pictures "'Til There Was You" and "Office Killers."
